The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) formally charged Lance Armstrong yesterday with doping in an ongoing program running over several years. A letter sent by USADA to Armstrong and several others was described in an article published by the Washington Post. If the charges are upheld, Armstrong might be stripped of his seven Tour de France titles.
Both Armstrong and his lawyer denied the charges. The U.S. attorney’s Los Angeles office ended a two-year investigation of Armstrong earlier this year without charging him.
If he’s guilty, can’t say I’m surprised. Every single competitor he podium’d with in the seven TdFs has admitted to it. Thanks for the heads up on this PM.
